How To Organize Your Laundry Room

Perhaps one of the most cluttered and chaotic rooms in the home, is the forgotten about utility, or laundry room. This room is where we spend the least amount of time in our home because it’s existence is for the sole purpose of cleaning other messes and catering to laundry washing needs. It is for this reason, we often neglect to pay mind or focus attention on it’s organization or aesthetics.

There is a necessity for detergents, fabric softeners and other laundry products in this room; often times, we find them cluttering up the tops of our washer and dryer units. This mess can make switching laundry loads and cleaning the lint trap a more difficult chore, and as mentioned before, it is not aesthetically pleasing by any means. A laundry caddy is the ultimate solution for removing this chaos from your utility room. The laundry caddy is on wheels and slides conveniently between your washer and dryer machines. There are three shelves for housing your laundry detergents and other household cleaning products that need a home.

It is unlikely that your wardrobe all have the same machine care requirements. Many garments have special instruction to hang dry. For this purpose, clothes racks make a great addition to your laundry room space. A garment rack is perfect for hanging clothes; however there are options for laundry racks that are expandable and better suited for smaller utility rooms and laundry spaces.

Having the right hamper for your families laundry needs is imperative in keeping laundry from piling up on the floor. We feature a fair selection of different hampers with different decorative styles, that are constructed from materials such as: canvas, stainless steel, and solid wood. We also carry a laundry sorter on wheels, for those with larger families, or who are more adamant about sorting their whites, lights and colors. For your ironing needs, choose from a portable ironing board or a wall mounted unit. If you do not possess a wardrobe full of garments that need ironing, perhaps the tabletop ironing board is most practical for catering to your ironing needs.
